I’m taking it back to basics. After several years of training like a 20-year-old leading to injury, operation, recovery, injury – repeat I’ve decided maybe I’m doing it all wrong.

After listening to a great interview with Coach Sommer, founder of Gymnastic Bodies, on The Tim Ferris Podcast I’m going back to the start, learning how to move, stretch and regain mobility.

It’s going to be a long journey – at least one year for the basics – the driving goal (10 are listed on the Why page) is to win (not get my arse kicked – win) at least one more competitive Judo contest.

Time to see what this clapped out 47 years old body of mine can cope with.
